Hello, here is a list of my favourite make up products, a list of mommy make up products. I have not written in quite a few weeks and as usual, I am pretty miffed about it. But when you have work, baby, home, myself and add to that my laziness and procrastination; 24 hours does seem to be too less for achieving all that I strive to achieve. This one here is a small post for all my girl friends who keep asking me about make up products. Here are my tried and tested mommy make up products.I am not a make up blogger, rather this is just a list of the few things I have been using regularly and are the ones I have used in the above picture for a day look.
So here goes, My mommy make up products list : Used in the pic above
Eye liner : In the above picture I have used Stila Stay All Day Water proof Eye liner. It has an extremely smooth tip which gives precision application. It is available in Sephora outlets. The eyeliner is water resistant and glides on very smoothly. Another really good eye liner is the Nykaa Liquid Eyeliner

Contour : Kat Von D Shade Light contour palette. This is the ultimate make up product and as far as its fame goes, this particular product deserves all the praise that it gets. The contouring effect that it has is awesome to say the least. Given that I am poor amateur at beat at make up; even I am able to get really good results with this one.
Availability: unsure about India, as I got mine from US. Other great palettes you can try are Nyx Professional Makeup Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator, Gleam, 18ml
Highlight: I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit Palette Gleam. This highlighter is bang on and worth every penny I spent on it. (And it is quite a pretty penny). But I am totally satisfied with it; it gives a sheen which is luminous and very professional.
Availability: unsure about India, as I got mine from US. Few other good highlighters are Sivanna Shimmer Highlighter (HF302-02)02
Eye Brow : ABH Dip Brow Pomade in Ebony. Again another extremely good product and very easy to use. In case you don’t get this, Maybelline Brow Duo Shaper in Brown is also very good.
Tip: It is imperative that you use an eye brow makeup; trust me it is the one thing that makes or breaks your look.
Kajal : Now here is the one thing I am completely head over heels in love with. After a long, long, long , really long and crow feet included searches, I finally found a kajal which does not smudge! Yessss I guarantee you, this is one Kajal that will not fail you. It does not smudge, has a full day staying power and no (unwanted) black smoky eyes .

Lips : This bright pop of a colour is one my recent favs and is a top second to my other favourite MAC Ruby Woo.
Maybelline Flaming Fuschia, It has High Staying power.
Very matte, very pigmented, do dab with a tissue and some baby talc and once done, this color stays for a really long time. I have been using this and I do not need to reapply this during the whole day I am at office.

Here are a few tips:
1. There are hundreds of brushes, but I don’t have the time, so I use a single brush mostly, a Kabuki brush, it kinda is ok for all my contouring and highlighting needs. Here is a link:
2. How to do contouring; watch some you tube make up tutorials, There are many good videos online, but do watch before experimenting
3. Blend
4. Use a high quality make up remover, I generally do oil cleansing and for eye make up I also use Sephora eye make up remover at times, this is available at Sephora stores.
5. I have not used any foundation in the above picture as I do not always use foundation, as thankfully I have good toned complexion, quite clear, Unlike my hair which is gone and is beyond help. Well you cant have it all, can you, so its ok. Anyway, if I do use then my favourite for foundation is Oriflame Very Me Peach Me Perfect and Esteé Lauder or Maybelline Dream Satin Skin Foundation B5 Nude 30ml
